Be a Renegade for the good!

Don't fight battles that do not mean anything in serving your purpose and goal.  There must be a good means to great ends.  You definitely have to choose your battles.  In the end, whether you win or lose...damaging your reputation(perception) or crediblity(reality) can ruin you for years to come.  If your cause is true and bigger than yourself, fight...even against all odds. Be aware of the risk factor.  Is it really worth it?  It is very important how you play the game, but it is even more important which game you need to play!
