A tribute to a becoming United States Marine...our son!

It is my pleasure and honor to tell you a little about my 1/3 babies...Rct Derek T. Worley, II. Derek has a heart of gold and an incredible desire to serve others. He is sensitive, compassionate, loving, kind, ingenious, resourceful, considerate and hard-working. He loves to have fun and can act goofy and silly at times, yet be serious when needed. Derek is a dedicated and loyal friend and would do anything to help others. One item on his "bucket list" before leaving for Boot Camp was to go to Chuckie Cheeses with Aaron and Ariel. I never would have thought he was serious, but I complied with his wishes!!! Derek can sometimes be shy and reserved, but at the same time loves being around people. He is a great big brother to Aaron and Ariel and a wonderful son to me and my husband. He has the ability to touch people's hearts with his loving and kind mannerism. He is following his long-time dream of becoming a United States Marine. I am absolutely filled with love, admiration and pride for this adorable, courageous, big boy of mine. I love you Derek and can not wait to see you next month!! You will forever have my love, support, dedication and prayers.
